Operation Solidarity – Day 10

to our friends

we have moved our local structure from kyiv to lviv and are reorganizing our headquarters there.
at the same time we are busy networking structures, coordinating offers of help and press inquiries. please be patient with some inquiries.
one project for medical care at the border has already written a statement – the solidarity apothecary.
our blog is currently also always shared on instagram as a share-pic. we are very grateful for this and are happy if this continues to happen and is shared a lot.

we have added a link collection to our page about the situation on bipoc at the borders – it contains as well some sources to help for disabled people on the run.

from russia we heard about a new feminist mobilization against the war. this gives courage – grassroots resistance against the war and against all oppression!

Operation Solidarity – Day 9

to our friends

we have heard from some supporters that there were problems with wise and the transfer to our bank account.
in one case wise justified it with the sanctions against russia – the bank to which the account belongs is located in donetsk. did wise already accept the russian annexation?
in any case, we are currently checking what we can do about it. in the meantime we recommend another donation account for bank transfer, crypto is still working. all those who have transferred something and whose money has not yet arrived: please check whether it has worked, complain if not and otherwise simply send the money again to the account of abc dresden.

we have already received the first deliveries of aid, as we reported on our telegram channel. here is a small insight.

in russia there is a call to take to the streets tomorrow – against putin and against the war. a good time to take to the streets worldwide against the invasion, against the dictatorship and for freedom!

in the meantime there are a lot of big organized help offers for people who are fleeing from ukraine. we took a look at some of them:

https://warhelp.eu/
–> humanitarian but seems really okay; offers of accomodation/transport/help with administative shit/translation in GER/POL/SLO/CZ/HUN/SZ/AUS
–> uses google-form as base

https://www.unterkunft-ukraine.de/
–> humanitarian, kinda professional, ok

https://wunderflats.com/page/ukraine/landlords-who-help-en
–> commercial. if people want to rent a furnished flat at lower cost, it might be okay, but it is commercial hipster start-up

further flixbus is offering free transport from the polish borders – and is not depending on your citizienship.

anarchists and antifascists on the run who want to stay with comrades are very welcome to contact us directly. but we also help everyone else where we can.

Operation Solidarity – Day 8

the situation with our structures on the ground is complicated. we cannot report on it in detail for security reasons. but we are working hard to maintain and expand our structures under difficult conditions.

our blog is now also regularly mirrored in french.

there is also a new site that tries to counter the russian propaganda with analsis. let’s see how it develops, feel free to check it out.

in germany, soli-shirts were printed for us. on the one hand, the proceeds go into our structures and on the other hand, we hope that the wearers will be able to talk to people and distribute counter-information directly.

ukainians looking for a place to stay in germany could check out this page.

to keep up to date with activities of polish no border activists we recommend the channel of No Borders Team here

german-speaking comrades can now find our blog mirrored in german at anarchistisch.ch.

Situation of BIPoC at the borders.

We are aware of the extra difficult situation of BIPoC (Black, Indigenous, People of Color) trying to leave the Ukraine. They are confronted with a racist border policy and also with fascists from Poland. Some of our supporters already got involved in practical anti-racist solidarity. Here comes a collection of sources and coverage which might be useful for you.

Solidarity structures & self-organization

There are info- and support websites for BIPoC. they link to telegram groups that spread updates and give a platform for self organization.
