in keeping with global solidarity, we have also created a small overview page of worldwide solidarity actions. it just gives a glimpse overview about what is happening and is far from complete.
we also added the nowar.help site to our link collection – the site tries to collect all the offers for people who have to flee from war.
In Kharkiv, after a rocket attack, the first anti-authoritarian and our comrade Igor were killed. We remember you and continue to fight. Heroes never die!
regarding the right-wing groups that are also fighting in ukraine, we would like to recommend this thread on twitter (and the linked article). and regarding queers, who are now defending themselves, this article here.
in our 18th post we had pointed out the crowdfunding of french anarchists. this is now online and can be found here.
here is an impression of a solidarity demonstration of the zapatistas:
Yajalón Chiapas. 13 de marzo. Tal y como lo habían anunciado, bases de apoyo del #EZLN se dirigen a las principales cabeceras municipales para una vez más refrendar su apoyo a los pueblos en lucha y resistencia,https://t.co/ROR0NYWd4epic.twitter.com/ACQah496tN
we publish here the report of anarchist solidarity – one of the groups we work closely with from the beginning. the report was written in german and is therefore published here in two languages. the german version is at the end of the text.
all cops are borders – solidarity will win
Anarchist Solidarity
Anarchist solidarity is a collective of anarchist and antifascist groups and individuals from Hamburg who are joining forces to transport people fleeing the Russian war of aggression in Ukraine from Poland to Hamburg. On our first tour we were able to pick up 110 adults and eight children
Warsaw (1)
Our second tour. The first one was only three days ago.
The situation there is so devastating, one could drive 24/7 between Poland and Hamburg and only idiots would think otherwise. The cynical lies about “humanitarian corridors” from Ukrainian cities to the polish border which are either never opened or are getting perforated by Russian military alone, leave little to no hope.
We drove to Warsaw with three travel busses, two small busses, a car and a team consisting of an adequate amount of drivers, a nurse, people for organisation purposes, a doctor and some translators. One bus broke down but another bully joined our journey in a different city.
We knew about a church in Warsaw that takes in PoC.
It was more just a floor in a multipurpose complex building than a church after all and we don’t even want to know what kind of church but nevertheless they opened up their doors, provided big rooms, wash rooms and a kitchen and weren’t really present. Everywhere we’re people exhausted from the chaos and days-long waiting hours at the border.
In a large room without any windows many of them were able to sleep for the first time in days others are charging their phones. The pressing fear and exhaustion is present on the whole floor.
The two small busses continue their tour to collect more people at the border.
