Operation Solidarity – Day 88

to our friends,

today we have two reports from ukraine to share with you. if you want to support our civilian work, you can find a paypal address on our donation page exclusively for civilian purposes.

Operation Solidarity went to Chernihiv for the second time. From the beginning of the war until the retreat of the Russian troops, the city was actually under siege and suffered considerable destruction. The Russian army destroyed over a thousand homes as well as critical infrastructure. Although the city is slowly receding from the siege, the situation remains dire and people are in need of the most basic things. Such as the food that the members of our organisation brought.

No, it is not a victory weapon, but rather the opposite. The Maxim machine gun from the early 20th century Civil War had to be put back into action. This is a clear indicator of how much the Ukrainians need modern weaponry.

But on the other hand, it is a symbolic weapon. Maxim machine gun was the trademark of the Makhnovist movement. Today’s Makhnovists, albeit in completely different circumstances, are once again forced to bring it out to confront the imperialists.

in addition, another villa of a russian oligarch was symbolically occupied over the weekend:

Operation Solidarity – Day 86

to our friends,

the resistance committee, »the space for dialogue and coordination of anarchist, libertarian and anti-authoritarian initiatives«, just published their first manifesto:

yesterday, activists also occupied a house in cologne, germany. this house is owned by the russian federation – and it is currently very difficult for them to obtain an eviction order in germany. so the police and the city could have simply tolerated this planned center for refugees and homeless people without any problems and sent a strong signal against putin – but property always comes before all reason in the capitalist world and so the police just did what they are made for: protected the rich and evicted the house.

Operation Solidarity – Day 85

to our friends,

here are two recommendations how you can easily get active – first, an art collective has made this page with leaked phone numbers of representatives of the putin regime. a simple variant to disturb the war logisticians a bit.
and secondly, here is a list of companies that are still cooperating with putin. any form of public pressure on the companies is certainly helpful.
furthermore, here is a relatively differentiated anarchist statement from finland against the desired entry of finland into nato – and in solidarity with the anarchist fighters in ukraine.
